Join Us – Careers for Barristers
Join Us – Carrers for Barristers – 5 Chancery Lane Commercial Barristers are commercially minded barristers and can provide the opportunity to join a dynamic and modern thinking collaboration of barristers operating from within the heart of legal London, a stone’s throw from the Business and Property Courts (High Court Rolls Building) and the RCJ (Royal Courts of Justice).
Modern – and – Traditional | The Confluence of ‘Tradition and Modernity’
The traditional approach to careers for barristers in barristers Chambers has meant that barristers become members and take up tenancy in a given set, often enduring fixed minimum monthly overheads. In a bold move at the Bar we have done away, with that tradition and adopted a far more modern and flexible way of working.
We particularly welcome applications from those traditionally underrepresented at the Bar, including parents with childcare responsibilities. It goes without saying that we do not discrminate on the grounds of age, race, creed, color, ethnicity, gender, marital status, national origin*, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.
Law Jobs Based On The Blind CV | Meritocracy All The Way!
5 Chancery Lane Commercial Barristers are proud to announce that in our first, ever, recruitment campaign we pride ourselves not on making bold statements, but on taking bold action. That is precisely why we will operate a policy of the blind CV. This, we hope will prevent any sort of discrimination.* This is not any sort of party political move. All too often, we have all witnessed positions of responsibility being handed to those without merit. For us, it is not a numbers game. For us, it is about the quality, calibre and ultimately the potential of the candidate. Irrespective of background. Is it any wonder that we champion ‘Meritocracy all the way‘?
